Welcome to the homepage for

Kehilat Ha Derech -  - Assembly of the Way!

Kehilat Ha Derech is a Murphy, Texas based congregation built upon a family-centered community of   believers in Messiah who are "fellow citizens" (Ephesians 2:19) together in the "commonwealth of Israel," (Ephesians 2:12) "brought near by the blood of Messiah" (Ephesians 2:13).

We are believers in the Scriptures and Yeshua HaMashiach, (the Messiah) of Israel.   We assemble for worship, praise, prayer and teaching in homes in the Murphy - Richardson - Plano - Allen Texas area at various times. We have a group meeting generally the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

The meeting dates and times for July 2008 are 7/12 and 7/26. The meeting begins at 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. with Hebrew class and general setup, 4:20 - 8 P.M. general meeting time with prayer, praise and worship, dance, teaching, discussions, and a fellowship meal together.

In addition, we have a beginning class on Hebraic dance on most Thursday evenings at the Life Fellowship church youth building, beginning at 7 p.m. Check with us for details.

In general, we study the weekly Torah portion (one year cycle) using materials from Messianic Israel Alliance, First Fruits of Zion and Simchat Torah Bet Midrash, along with periodic study materials, such as the Life Study course "The 49 Commands of Christ" from the Institute of Basic Life Principles.

Our group began in 2002 from a dedicated prayer group. We met at the old Murphy City Hall and Community center under the name Murphy Community Fellowship through May 2005. After the city closed the facility, we continued to meet in our homes. We changed the name in 2007 to more accurately reflect our heritage.

We are not formally associated with Kehilat Ha Derech in Carmel, Israel, except in the spirit.

Yochanon (John) 14:6 Yeshua said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Acts 9:1-2 But Sha'ul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the talmidim of the Lord, went to the Kohen Gadol, and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Dammesek, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Yerushalayim.

Matthew 28:19 – 20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”

Rom. 11:17-2
But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root of the richness of the olive tree; don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who bear the root, but the root you.  You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in." True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear;  for if God didn't spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
Jer. 31:33-34
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisra'el after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
